Grounded in Practice

Foundations in the Field

We operate select programs to inform our work with schools, districts, and afterschool networks nationwide. Our work on the ground keeps us connected to the challenges and joys that our partners and clients experience every day.

Through these programs we test approaches, content and professional development in the real world of tight budgets, tight timelines, and high expectations. The experiences deeply inform our services including technical assistance and program design.

Based on lessons learned operating secondary afterschool programs in urban areas and the latest research, Foundations’ launched the Prep Zone Consortium.

Through the Technology Is Power Seminar (TIPS) series, Foundations is offering youth in Northwest Philadelphia training that can change their lives and broaden their horizons.
