Ron Goldstein
Project Director, Marketing, Outreach and Training
Before joining the Center for Afterschool Education, Ron Goldstein spent over twenty-five years as a junior high school
teacher, assistant principal and principal. Ron now uses his extensive experience to develop and manage
afterschool programs. His successful implementation of the Advantage Program for ninth graders in the Philadelphia
School District, led to the development of the Homework Zone and Prep Zone, two successful middle and high school
afterschool programs in Philadelphia and Camden, NJ. Ron received his Bachelors of Science in Health and
Physical Education from West Chester University, his Masters of Educational Administration from Villanova University,
and his Principal Certification from Arcadia University.
