Joana Davis-Díaz
Project Manager, Training and Publications
Joana Davis-Díaz contributes to the development of instructional materials, facilitates training, and provides outreach as part of the training team. Prior to joining the Center for Afterschool Education, she served as a consultant for the World Affairs Council. She also completed a Graduate Fellowship in the Office of Curriculum Development at Community College of Philadelphia. Joana was a Spanish and middle school teacher in Philadelphia for five years, working primarily with Latino youth. She is on the Board of Trustees of Independence Charter School, a Spanish Immersion elementary school. She is currently completing her master’s degree in Bilingual/Bicultural Studies.
